Greater Chicago Motor Cars was a group I found online while searching for a specific vehicle I wanted. I was searching for a used Porsche Cayanne. The car I found was exactly what I was looing for. I've often been skeptical of photos of vehicles online, however, the car i picked up was actually bett...er looking in person than the photos that were posted. The car was spotless and meticulously cleaned. From the looks of it all the inventory was comparable if not better. My sales person and (I believe the sales manager) were helpful in structuring the deal for me via e-mail, as I was coming in from out of state. The trade value given to me for my vehicles was fair. The sale price on the car was as good of a price as I could find anywhere. Upon arriving Dimiteri worked the deal right up, per what we had discussed via e-mail. No surprises, no changes. This dealership is not a traditional new car dealership with a large lot. It's in an industrial-type warehouse. The cars are a bit jammed in... but they do get them out quickly for you to test drive. And again the quality of the vehicles wareshoused were stellar. Upon agreeing to the deal, test drive, etc... I was then escorted to a finance office to handle the paper work with the finance manager. This was a little different that any other purchase experience I've ever had... but it was seemless, quick, and I'm please with my purchase... now two weeks in. Show more

In dealing with Demetri I was treated with respect and professionalism. I would and have recommended him to anyone I talk with that is looking for a car. When I arrived at the dealership everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and professional. This is the best experience I have ever had in... purchasing a new car. Mark Reed was a pleasure to work with in my pursuit of a used Hummer. Courteous, professional, friendly, fair and he was knowledgeable about the H2 that I purchased. I will contact Mark for my next vehicle purchase, as the dealer had a wonderful selection of only the cleanest automobiles anywhere.

Attention all car enthusiast’s, Greater Chicago Motors is a great place to buy that special car. My experience with the dealer started when I was surfing the net for a Corvette. They had one and their reviews looked good so I called. Mark Reed was my Sales contact, the phone call went well and h...e answered all my questions about the car. When I arrived at the convenient location of the showroom/warehouse the car I was interested in was sitting pointed towards the door detailed and ready for a test drive, that’s customer service. I had been looking for a while, looked at four other cars in person and hundreds on the net, I can honestly say Greater Chicago Motors had the best example of what I was looking for. You see pictures in the ad, you call and they tell you it’s nice, then you show up and the car is more than you expected! That didn’t happen at the other places I went. I spent several hours at the dealership looking around, Greater Chicago Motors has a huge inventory of High Line and Rare Collectable vehicles and everyone I saw was in great shape detailed and ready to go. Mark Reed, Barry Delisi, and the rest of the staff made my car buying experience enjoyable. I was searching for a new MINI and found Greater Chicago Motors was offering the model with the options I was looking for. Over the next few weeks, I worked with Barry and his team via phone and email to complete the sale from here in NJ, and they were helpful and professional and worked with my shi...pper and me to facilitate a smooth buying experience. There was only a minor after-sale issue (floor mats were missing) and it was handled as promised which, nowadays, is impressive. Too often sales experiences are ruined after the sale because the sales people ignore you and hope you'll go away but this time, all the loose ends were tied up. If you find the car you're looking for at Greater Chicago Motors, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Barry Delisi and his team. Show more

The best car buying experience I have had. Having been in the financial industry for some time, the most successful companies were the ones with great leadership, and exceptional staff, and exceptional customer service. I am happy to say GCM encompasses all of them. Demetri was the most honest stra...ight forward salesmen I have had the pleasure of meeting. We were located over 300 miles away and a little nervous about buying a car without seeing it. Demetri literally went around the car and sent me pictures of every single thing that I may critique on the car. He analyzed it as if he was buying it, which set me at ease. After making a deal over the phone we proceeded down there and nothing changed. The BMW 745 was exceptional and their inventory was out of this world. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Barry the General Manager is the prime example of a client focused leader. He welcomed us with open arms the minute we entered the facility. There was nothing that he held back It is obvious his staff is what they are because of his exceptional leadership. Chad the Finance Director was awesome to deal with. Usually F&I guys are pushy and frustrating. Not Chad he was very straight forward and to the point and did not pressure any sort of products. He was fun to talk to and made the final step easy and stress free. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to look at GCM. I will definitely be going back. Show more

I recently purchased a Nismo 350z from greater Chicago motors, and it was definitely an enjoyable experience. I buy a vehicle roughly every 1.5 years and I tend to upgrade as I go. I had been looking into new vehicles, but I wasn't overly satisfied with any until I found the nismo at GCM. I decided ...to give them a call and see what I could find out about it, and thus begins my dealings with Demetri. He was very helpful in answering any and all questions I provided, and we had lined up kind of a ballpark on what we were looking to get for our cars (he on the nismo, and I on my trade in). I live approx. 400 miles away, so all of our contact was over the phone/email. I sent many pictures of my trade in, and after some negotiation we came to a fair deal on both ends. I had never bought a car out of state before, but Demetri was more than helpful in making sure everything transitioned smoothly. After waiting for weather to create a travel window, I made the trek and everything went just as expected. One small note: I had never been to Chicago before, and after the drive, the sun had set. GCM's facility was not difficult to find, and I was asked to pull to the rear of the facility to the garage entrance to see my car. Downtown Chicago, at night, in a dimly lit alley behind an unknown facility, was fairly sketchy. All nerves were eased as a garage door arose to reveal a Porsche cayman, along side a few Maserati's, among other various (and beautiful) vehicles. Being a mechanic and a z owner, I gave it a thorough inspection, and the car was every bit as immaculate as expected. Went for a test drive and loved it, and then headed to their finance guy. A low tire pressure light appeared on the way to the finance person, and when the paperwork was finished, I was taken back to GCM to ensure proper inflation of all tires (one rear tire was borderline low, and they filled to spec before I departed). Approx. 5 hours later, I was home without any trouble at all. All in all, everything went well and I have no complaints. Show more

I bought a car last weekend from GCM. Delighted with the car, and feel I got a decent price on the car and my trade in. I spotted the car online and it was priced below comparables on the various websites, for sure. I filled in the online form and Demetri who looked after me, called very quickly ...to schedule the appointment and again an hour before my appointment to confirm my arrival time so he could ensure the car would be out and ready when I got there. All went well, and I figure I need say no more than I'll be more than happy to deal with DEmetri again in the future. As good a car buying experience as I have had, and the car is in perfect nick, as was advertised. Demetri has since followed up that he has secured the spare key for me, so clearly my view on the after sales service experience at this point is very positive too. How many other dealers would have just said "right, I have his money", and wouldn't be bothered do any more. Overall, experience was very good - I had to go to a different location to complete paperwork and granted, so the only issue I had was that I was some time in the waiting room, but in fairness, Rich (I think was his name, not sure) was very apologetic having got delayed with some additional requests from another buyer. So, all good from my perspective. Show more
